Well, again I haven't been writing on the blog for a while so excuse my memory. I woke up nice and late and did a few things on the computer. Its really great to be back here in this little township that is really isolated but still beautiful, rich with culture and close to important cities like Mannheim and Frankfurt. I love walking through the township and remembering things I did, places I fell.
After a really good lunch I headed over to some friends in Neustadt, where we decided we would go watch Harry Potter 7 part 1. It was a good movie and a nice way to catch up with friends I haven't seen for nearly a year. There was an exchange student there from Thailand. She was alone in the cinema, she didn't come with anyone. I felt sorry for her, but then I was told that she doesn't include herself in activities and almost never talks to anyone, fat chance you are going to learn German and/or have friends.
Then I went home where we were greeted with Herbert and Maritta and we had Raclette. It was so good and it brought back memories of last year's Christmas. They have so many stories, they are so interesting. For example, they were in Berlin for a majority of the time the Wall was up and they witnessed the fall of the Wall. They said how all the East Berliners ("Ossies") came and bought out the shops of West Berlin and they said that now that the East was empty and that the West was like the East used to be. It was a hilarious and informative night that I will remember for a while.
